Billy Ward

Billy Ray Ward, 72, loving daddy, adored granddad, brother, uncle, and beloved friend went to be with the Lord on March 11, 2017.  He had a long struggle with kidney disease and diabetes and ultimately passed away from sepsis, MRSA. batermia, aortic aneurysm, and cardiopulmonary arrest while at Baylor, Scott and White Hospital in Rowlett, TX.  Billy moved to Sachse with his daughter, son-in-law and grandsons last August from Loveland, CO.  He worked in the banking industry and a salesman prior to his retirement.  Billy graduated from Roswell High School in 1962 where he has behind many, many friends who tried to see once a year at their reunion.  Billy made life-long friends where ever he lived, he was treasured by them and by his family.  Billy loved playing the guitar and singing for his family and friends.  He was an avid golfer, fisherman, and sports fan.

Billy is survived by his brother Scharbauer Ward, sister Sawyer Ward, children John and Tanya Ward, Kevin and Ashley MIms, grandchildren Kaleb Mims, Brooke Ward, Kameron Mims, Londyn Ward, Paige Ward, nieces Lori Swafford Seabron Pelc, Avonlea Ward, and Ella Ward, and ex-wife Judy Hayes.  Billy was preceded in death by his parents. Bill R. Ward and Clara Fuqua, and sister, Linda Swafford.  The family extends a special thank you to family and friends from all over.  Mike Martin - The family couldn't have gone through this without you for the last couple of months.  Sanford  Green, Jerry Floyd, Curtis Webster, and many others - Thank you for seeing Billy in the hospital and offering your support to the family during this time.
