Adding to my remark about line dancers.  It's SO NOT TRUE!  All of the line dancers I know are beautiful physically and in spirit!!

Johnny,

T'is true,  Johnny devotes serveral hours a day creating interesting items, songs, pictures... all which had to do with our formative years.  Your classmates and I truly enjoy all your efforts!

Birthday Kid eh?  I hope you enjoyed a nice day and it continues from here on out!  Let's go fishing!

Sherry, didn’t mean to overlook your birthday.  Hope it was extra special!  Hope to see you again in August!

John L., I agree with you on the bloomin’ deal!  Better late than never...right?  These days I just try to bloom where I’m planted.  ðŸŒº

Saundra, glad to hear from you, I thought I might have insulted you!!!laugh

Well, Saint Paddie's day is upon us. I will soon be cooking my 'world famous' basted and baked corned beef dinner. One of the many larruppin' recipes from the Landess World Famous Recipe Book! And for those that don't like boiled cabbage, some spicy fried cabbage.

WOW. I am slopperin' on my keyboard.

John L,, no offense taken.  Your St. Paddy’s day meal sounds delish!  We are getting an early start with some Irish Soda Bread from Sprouts.  It is addictive....so good!!

Sherry, so sorry I missed your Birthday!!  I hope you had a great day ~ now that you and John are the same age!!smiley  Our son from Seattle came for John's birthday and that made it very special for him!!  I know your kids were there for you!!!  Love you and hope to see you soon!   Lynn

Saundra,

Folks that don't like corned beef (boiled), come for seconds at my table. I got the recipe from my old Master Chief. He was the head cook for the Navy Officers stationed in Rota, Spain. After the boiling, you prepare it like you would bake a ham, and stick it in the oven for a bit.. A little honey mustard and yum-yum.

I am sure that it is easier to get your soda bread at Sprouts, but is really easy to make, basically just a big biscuit.. I got one of my recipes from Jill Novatt. She is quite a cook (chef) and used to work on Emeril's TV staff....

John L.,

Yum & yum!  Sounds great!  I think Irish Soda bread comes in both savory and sweet.  Sprout’s is slightly sweet with raisins.  It is moist with a crispy, sugary crust.  Their sample trays got me hooked!

El Juan,

"Beware! The Ides of March are upon you" meaning hope you ain't holdin' yer head in yer hands cause Cassius paid ya a visit....  but more likely from drinkin' all that green (tea?) in yer famous Amos 'blarney stone' kitchen.

Johnny,

I really enjoyed the video you posted of "The Best of Dick Clark's shows".  Especially liked Buddy Holly, JP Richardson (Big Bopper), The Killer, and the Everly Brothers.  Roy Orbison's "Only the Lonely" should have been included.  Could those Bobbie Soxer's chew gum or what?!!  We'll have to ask El Juan if it might have been "Tenny-See Toobacky", as Juan appears to be an expert on just about evah thang from Eye-rish cookin' ta Ah'll-ask-her fishin'.... wink

PS   Johnny could you post the Dick Clark video again?s  Thanks!

Well, I trust all have recovered from their St. Pattie's Day celebrations and meals. I only have a bit of the corned beef left.... that is I made it, the potatoes, and some onion into corned beef hash. A little hot sauce and a couple of eggs = GREAT breakfast, or even a supper.

Rex. Rex, if I didn't know better, I would think that the only thing green wuz you. I hope that you are not getting jealous of my many talents! I haven't even mentioned, sailing, diving, or flying (yet). And I have resisted mentioning my natural good looks and youthful figure as of late! So?

Anyway, Spring is sprung... hope all have a great summer

ps. Rex, I attempted to post a photo here of a cute little leprechaunette for you on St Pat's. However the one thing I haven't aced, is this site (yet)

Tommy went hunting over the weekend for the big cats.  He says it's much more sporting to just use your hands.
