While I was in the class of 1964; I knew many classmates from 1961 thru 1965....perhaps this from Tich Nhat Hanh will have some meaning.

Peace will come, it was promised to us from God.

Peace to his family and friends.

I am of the nature to grow old.
There is no way to escape growing old.

I am of the nature to have ill health.
There is no way to escape ill health.

I am of the nature to die.
There is no way to escape death.

All that is dear to me and everyone I love
are the nature to change.

There is no way to escape
being separated from them.

My actions are my only true belongings.
I cannot escape the consequences of my actions.

My actions are the ground upon which I stand.

Thich Nhat Hanh

Happy Turkey Day to all.

I am enjoying mine in Santa Fe, with plenty of wind and snow, at my youngest son and family's home.

I could have went with my middle son and family to Orlando.......Hummmm...... I may need to rethink my holiday planning in the future!!!frown

Anyway, enjoy the day, as we as Americans, still have plenty to be thankful for.

Thank you, Paula.  You sent me right to it.

Corinthians 9:24, KJV: "Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain."

Paula Carl (Cowee Miller)

The pucture is on 2 pages; 76 & 77. It's so dark I can't figure out who the guys are or what trophy they are holding.

Rex Booth

The trophy could be either for football or very likely a track award.  Both sports practised in gray sweat shirts and sweat pants.  Since the word "run" is written 'three' times and "run in a race" is included in the bibical quote, it could be attributed to long distant 'runners' in Track.
