It sounds like a 60th would be great. We have lost a lot of our friends over the last few years. I would love to see all of you  while we are still kicking.

Beautiful Fall picture, Rex!  It reminds me of Fall when we lived in Indiana.  We lived in LaPorte, a town built around 7 lakes.  Driving along the lakes to town in Fall was breathtaking! The seasons aren't as peonounced in New Mexico and Oklahoma.

Saundra,

Thanks for your appreciation of the Autumn picture. Looks like we both spent time in Indiana. I lived in Lafayette, Indiana during 5th grade.  Lived in an nice pre-Civil War home  (three stories) with a lookout tower above. I'd climb up to the lookout and could see all the way across the Wabash River to Purdue University. Acted out a few scenes from Gone With the Wind... while up there...! Indiana's fall season is spectacular!  Trees that have varying shades of gold, red, and orange which is somewhat sparce in New Mexico.  Thanks for your comments!

Sherry,

Time to take a ride. The few days that I have been in ABQ, I have seen the trees along the Rio G. turning beautiful shades of  orange and yellow with an occasional bright red one.

But, I will be heading back to TN shortly (a quick trip) and I am sure that the Appalachian area will be soon colorful also.
