Rex, I was listening to pandora the other day and heard a Johnny Cash song I had never heard.  I pulled up a list of his songs and it was not listed, but then saw it was a video on you-tube. It  is chicken in black from his tv show in 69 or 70.  At that time I had no tv and was busy dating my wife to be.  If you can post it some might get a cluck out of it.  Speaking of double meanings, my favorite is a blind man picked up a hammer and saw.

Fred,

Another example of weirdness...

"YouTube have any outages etc...."  I did not type this in my Johnny Cash post, I did not type it at all.    It was typed in about 2-3 hours after I posted the video.  Notice the difference in font size.

What is going on??  Somebody else getting access to my posts??

Rex, are you playing the old grey ghost again?

Fred,

Remember the George Washington story, whom accordng to folklore,  said: "Father I cannot tell a lie, I cut down the cherry tree".

The grey ghost of the past, present, and future... "Only the Shadow knows"...

Gee Whiz Fred,

I went back and looked at your post #8008.  Didn't see anything about a 'Youtube' outage on post # 8006... wink

Rex, I'm am pretty sure it was the grey ghost striking again.  Probably just bored.  Pretty sure I know who it was this time.

The camera on my Ring doorbell caught him sneaking around this time.  Not gonna point any fingers or name any names.  Just that he is a tall grey haired old guy.  And he is uglier than homemade sin in a quart jar.!!

Nope not gonna tell.  Not gonna...unless someone offers enough $$.

Just dawned on me who it might actually be. Made me sit bolt upright in bed.

The grandchildren of the aliens that crashed in 1947 are poking around in the dark of night. And changing people's posts. Wonder if that is happening elsewhere...hmmm.

Fred,

Can you post any footage caught on the Ring camera?  Our RHS forensic team can analyze it. I alway thought the off-spring of aliens were not tall but short 3 foot greys. Of course something might have gotten into woodpile to mess with the gene pool... My theory, could it be the ghost of "The Man with the Hook" who escaped from the Las Vegas, NM mental institution in 1959?

Got a really nice photo of whatever it might be. Thought it might be a neighbor from down the road running around in my front pasture buck naked. But everybody along this road is too old to even walk fast much less run around.

Rex, I can't seem to post the photo, keep getting an error message.

It must be an alien.  It is supposed to be a photo, but it looks like it is pulsing. May actually be an alien, and it won't let me post...

09/17/24 09:12 AM #8015

Rex Booth

The RHS Forensic Team is waiting with baited-breath to examine the photo of the alien! Try sending it to "google drive" on-line with a link. Possibly we can see what appears to be  pulsating as you described.  This sounds a lot like Cal's "Desert Demon" (half human and elk sporting two horns seen running around Caprock late one night (true story...).  Others think it might also be the ghost of Foster Brooks... instead of the Man with the Hook.... hmmm

Are there any classmates who might shed some light on this phenomena or who experienced other strange occurrences?

Let's see if this works.  Couldn't get the link to work here.. So I uploaded  to my acct at YouTube, and then linked it here...

And here it is finally...

Looks like an alien to me!  Weird.

Sherry Hester (Trasp)

Looks Like a Alien to me even though I have personally not seen one.
Fred, it could also be one of your (drunk) neighbors crawling home naked!!

HAHAHAH!!wink

Fred Miller

My first thought was an alien too.  But I thought the kind of alien that would look like this only lives in Area 51.  Or maybe they didn't find all of them there in Roswell back in 1947.

The only kind of aliens here in Texas look similar to us.  And they are very tired from walking 1500 - 2000 miles for the last 2 or 3 weeks.

Rex Booth

So this "creature" was caught on the Ring door-cam?  Ring should do a better job with their camera lenses... cause the 'thang' is way outta focus. cool The alien looks like a two-legged albino spider that glows in the dark... a relative of Spider Man?

09/19/24 09:29 AM #8021

Rex Booth

I wouldn't recommend taking a long evening stroll outside by the pond if your Ring cam continues to capture more pics of the "Thang" !!!   👽

Another Car Quiz...

1. Who do you remember that drove a '57 Chevy (Bel-air or Impala)?

2. What color was it?

3. Engine cubic inch?  Carburetors?

4. Two, Four door HT, or Post?

4. A "good story" to add to the mix?

John Doyal

Bill Berckes drove one that was turquois 4 door Bel Air  that belonged to his dad who was a teacher at RHS and drove the car to school.  It got really good gas milage so we could come home on $2.00 in gas money which was cheaper than eating at NM State on the weekends.  The 57 is the one car I always wanted ,but was not feasible after marriage.

I believe I rode in Bill's car when we had our one and only date!  It was a beauty.

09/21/24 02:14 PM #8026

Sherry Hester (Trasp)

My Grandparents, who lived in Portales bought the 4 door Turquoise Bel Air. When they passed away My Uncle inherited it and my Brothers and I were really disappointed we didn't get a chance to own it. UNTIL we found out it was the 2 door that was really of any collectable value. frownwink

09/21/24 02:26 PM #8027

Patrick Riley

John Denton had a '57 Chevy - navy blue and white - big engine.

If I remember right (and I may not), Mike Ingram also had a '57 Chevy - burgundy and white maybe.

Gary Poe had a rare '57 Bel-air "4" door hard top. Yellow with white top.
