Have a wondeful day!

I've seen too many get elected.

Did you hear there's a coin shortage in America?
We're running out of comman cents. 🤣
I used to think I was indecisive.......
but now I'm not so sure. 🤣

Are we busy Spring Cleaning...?

This week has been much warmer like the middle 80's in the Pecos Valley. Here are a few things around the house I've been able to accomplish...

Started watering at the end of February on a 10 day schedule for now.  Already seeing specs of green in the Bermuda grass. Replaced (4) sprinkler heads in the lawn sprinkler system. Pulled out the lawnmower, fueled with fresh gas, started 'er up and found the engine was pulsating and not keeping a consistent speed during idle or at top end.  Pulled carburetor and installed a new Honda carb. Took her out for a run and she ran like a top! Then proceeded to change the oil with 10/30. I disassembled the old carb and found dirt in small passage ways. The tiny holes of the jet were also partially plugged with debris. So with the help of spray carb cleaner was able to remove all the bad stuff. The needle seat and float were OK.  Let's see now, what's on the agenda for today... hmm

So what have "You" got up your sleeve today...?

           An "Alky-haul" meme...

WOW, that Rex has a lot of energy!!! (or is it alky haul?) ha

As for me, now in my middle age, I have been waiting for a little rain to make the grass grow, and then maybe I will get on the mower. After that, I think I will just head to Alaska again.

Meantime, I was doing a little cleaning and when dusting my bookshelf, pulled down the 1961 Coyote (the only one I have. Thanks to Johnny A. passing one along from Betty??) Anyhoo, I started reading it and cracking up on the Senior's "Future Plans" and "Suppressed Desire". Some of them are a riot. I am guessing that class of '62 had the same questions?? I was surprised at the number of young ladies hoping to attend a Service Academy.

I saw one that I know fulfilled part of her suppressed desires... Linda Lepard (Weathers)...I know she teaches dancing, but did she get to sing in the Ray Charles Chorus?? Tommy??

As to the guys, one wanted to fight Floyd Patterson, but I am with the guy that wanted to appointed the "American Ambassador to Juarez"  NOW, that was a plan!

A "tourist in Vienna" is walking through a graveyard when, out of nowhere, he starts hearing music. With no one around, he begins searching for the source. Eventually, he tracks it down to a grave with a headstone that reads: “Ludwig van Beethoven, 1770-1827.”

He’s stunned to realize the music is Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony... being played backward! Confused, he leaves and convinces a friend to come back with him. When they return, the music has changed to the Seventh Symphony, also being played backward.

Curious, they consult a music expert. When they return with him, they hear the Fifth Symphony... and once again, it’s backward! The expert points out that the symphonies are playing in reverse order of their composition: 9th, 7th, and 5th. By the next day, the crowd has grown, and they’re now hearing the Third Symphony, still backward.

Just then, the caretaker of the graveyard strolls by. Someone asks him if he has any explanation for the music. With a shrug, he replies: “I thought it was obvious... He’s decomposing"...  🎼🎶🎵 🙄

Looking back I see where JL ask if Linda got to sing with RCC. No but it was not for lack of talent.

Would like to know if anyone knows how to find Jimmy Qualls.
