Rex, your information about the summer of 1964 at the Circle F Ranch could very well be true!!!  That summer  I was no where near the ranch ~ I was at Colorado State University going to summer school and then being told that my grades "sucked" and I could no longer attend CSU!!!  Guess that was a nice way of saying I "flunked out" of college and my Dad was not a happy camper!!  So I came home and went to work and NOT at the ranch!!  Then about 6 months later John and I were married and here we are!!!!!heart

Also thanks for the very nice comments about my being at North.  It has been great getting to know you all these years later and now we are filling in the "blanks!!!

Hope you have a Happy New Year and look forward to seeing you this summer!!

Hugs!!!!

Well, here's hoping that Billy doesn't blank out tonight!!! and a Happy New Year to everyone.

To my end of the year ramblings, I will let all know that it is possible to go back in time (soda-wise) by checking out this supplier (Mr. Cola, etc.)!!   www.shopold52.com

And one more great big thank you to Johnny A. for keeping things going on this site cheeky

Rex, I think it's Telly! haha

Easiest way I know to put a pic on, is to open a message forum box and click on the second box at the top of the message next to the one that says source, then it will take you to the next screen where you can browse to find your  pic, where ever it is on your computer, select your pic then hit upload.  Your pic should then be on your message.  Let me know if you need more help.

Rex, it is your turn now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

John,

Rex made comments about your head. I believe there is a verse in Bible that says "God only made a few perfect heads and he put hair on the rest of them."

Keith,   that's a real 'hairy' quote....

My grandpappy was a deacon at his Church.  Regarding quotations from the bible, HE said: "The bible is like an old fiddle. You can play any ole tune on it you want on it..."   Hardy har hair hair !!!

Celebrating my 70th. Tailgate party at the Raider/Denver game.  The Raiders may have lost, but the the Raiderette's were winners.  This Raider Bob is on the right.   A few years ago, Bill Turley, Bob, and I were having dinner at the Hyatt in Oakland the Saturday night before a game where several Raider players hung out with the fans.  Raider Bob spotted George Blanda having dinner with his wife.  Turley do you remember what Raider Bob said Blanda....?    ha

I remember.  First I have to say Raider Bob has been a season ticket holder to the Raiders since before they moved to LA (before, during and after) many many years.

As George and his wife walked by our table as I recall Bob said"Hey George,is that you? Aren't you George Blanda?" Blanda just kinda snickered and gave him a back flip wave. It was kinda embarrassing especially from a life long Raider fan.

Rex,

I did go to North Jr. High in the 7th and 8th. Do you remember a "talent show" where students performed on stage in the auditorim? I recall skits and vocals. I know I sang the song "Teach Me Tonight" . I was scared to death. I guess I can tell my grandkids I sang on the same stage as Elvis .

Rex do you recall a assembly at North where they painted a pastoral scene using 9th graders  as the objects in the painting.  Trees, shrubs, rabbits, flowers, other animals and squirrles.

They ask the assembly what they should name the picture.  In the back you could hear a teacher loud and clear." Gathering of the Nuts"  Which part did you play?
