To:  Johnny A,  Lynn A,  Pat S… thank you kindly, kindly for your B-day wishes.  It ‘twas very thoughtful.  This includes Big Tom W and Billy Ward who sent me their thoughts and ‘prayers’ by email.

Gilmore seems to be stalling by not posting the picture of his Corvette on this forum.  When he starts the engine up, out comes a blue smokescreen...

I still say you had a 45 RPM record player mounted on your glove box door which played a Beatle song:  Ah wanna hold yer Hay-end. Or was that really a commercial song which helped you sell AAA towing insurance?   BTW, you collecting from your AAA customers at the Satellite and La Bonita...  Yung blood, itz a wundah yo’s still a’live ta tell da tale!  wink

Rex,

Just wanted to say "Happy Birthday".

Now I know that it was a few days ago, but anyone can say "Happy Birthday" on the day, but how many out there still remember you after the candles are blown and the cake and ice cream are eaten????

ME!!!!

I'm not late, I'm sensitive..............

David C,  Fred M,  John L, and Bill T...

Remember when Bob Hope sang “Thanks for the Mammories”?  He spelled it differently, but as Steve McQueen said in the Magnificent Seven  “It seemed to be a good idea at the time”…

Kudos to John El “the sensitive one”  and to Bill Turley “the shadow Knows”… cause Ah know what he means.  The Kiddy Knows.

Gents thanks for thinking of me.  Now where is my ice cream and cake!!?

Wild Bill Hiccup,

Well, that solves the problem!  Let's move the party to Martin's over lunch!  Bettah behave yosef, 'n do somethin' 'bout those hiccups, tho.  Martin may not take too kindly to unruly behavior.  Cheers!

Tommy Weathers

Do you remember George Pilley from our Jr. year. Well George's family moved to Roswell summer of 1961. George's family moved out of Roswell Christmas of 1961. George road the school bus to school every day and Jim Melstead gave him a ride home after basketball practice each day. George Pilley is # 25 on the RHS JV basketball team of 1961.

Billy Turley

Tommy,Tommy...Tommy

Just a couple of problems with your story.

1. The pic is from 1960 our sophomore year.

2. Jim Milstead has no clue who number 25 is. I personally asked him.

But keep on trying !!

11/10/15 10:52 AM #2815

Bob Gilmore

I think #25 first name is Don.(The back of my brain, is telling me)He was not a AAA member.

11/10/15 11:17 AM #2816

Billy Turley

Well that settles it....# 25 is an alien and not real.

If'n he wasn't a member of AAA then he didn't exist.

Nobody eluded the long arm of Gilmore and AAA

Mack Kizer

Tommy and Tuly, you obviously are either blind or don't want to solve the #25 mystery!  #25 is Johnny Cole who for some reason doesn't want to fess up to it being him.  Could be because he played so crappy no one even remembers him.  Personally I think he is sitting around laughing at everyone.  Tommy and Tuly just gave him a fresh round of chuckles.  MK

11/10/15 02:12 PM #2818

Mack Kizer

I just looked up the picture of George Pilley.  I was right about Tommy.  He is blind as a bat if he thinks george Pilley  is #25.  However I do have another theory.  Tommy doesn't want to admit #25 is johnny Cole so he doesn't have to pay me the $5000 dollar reward he put up.  Cough it up Tom---- Cough cough cough $5000!  MK

Sorry I had my year mixed up. I am just going by what Jim Milstead told me yesterday at his mother's funeral.

Mack it was 50 cents. You added to many 000000s

My brother Cherry is doing a lot better. Long story. He had bypass surgery  on his left leg and is going to have to do the same on his right leg soon.
