Rex,

I'm not an expert of the Roswell incident but I believe Dr. Kimball's main point was that the whole alien autopsy story was apparently fabricated based on his first hand knowledge of the base hospital and those assigned there.  His elaboration of events on the base during the time of the incident was probably to show that everything was normal on the base and the commander and staff were focused on events as usual without creating drama related to the incident.

If you are intersted in the detail that you mentioned, I suggest you take a look at the Executive Summary of the USAF report on Roswell in 1994.  The entire report was about 1,000 pages.  The web site is:

      www.Roswellfiles.com/Articles/AirForceReport.com

The report was prepared by Colonel Richard L. Weaver who was an OSI agent (AF equivalent of NCIS).  His bio is on this site with an interview he gave a few years ago.  He has some good insights and gave a candid interview.  I met him about 4 years ago in Virginia at a meeting (unrelated to Roswell).  When a mutual friend told me about his report and we discussed it in general terms.  The web site is:

Gerald,

Thanks for your input.  I appreciate anyone contributing information regarding the Roswell Incident.  I do believe the alien autopsy film was a complete fabrication. And may well be a spinoff from Mr. Dennis ‘story’ about the stench he smelled emitting from the base operating room, the nurse telling him to leave, and him being escorted out of the hospital.  My opinion, fiction.

However, according to various site links you posted, are you suggesting we are all ‘alone’ in this world… all alone in our galaxy?  Of course we know there are other galaxies and other solar systems billions and trillions of light years away from earth, are you saying there have been ‘no’ extraterrestrial visitations by intelligent beings, or by any intelligent life whom may have visited our world?   Most persons have difficulty with the concept… to wrap one’s mind around the word “Infinity”.   Infinite mean no boundaries or limitations.  Space as we comprehend it is endless.  Imagine travelling in space in any direction forever…  Forever.   Then again, Dirty Harry said “A man’s got to know his limitations…”

Radio Station KRZY- 13.5 AM   "Breaking News" !!

Phil Philistine our 'born-again' star gazer just returned, after spending three dusty days in the high plains desert of New Mexico.  Phil said he slept out under the stars under the Very Large Array (VLA) located on the Plains of San Augustin, between Magdalena and Datil.  Phil described it as a huge radio astronomy observatory which contains (27) twenty-seven (count ‘em)  huge radio telescopes 82 feet in diameter!!   Phil said the first day was spent at a seminar on Highway 60 which gave heathens like himself various techniques to help ward off evil spirits of gov’mint propaganda.  Yea, rejoice, and behold!  Those techniques also combat the dis-information spread by the US Arh Farce.  The seminar included a course on how to deal with military coercion and intimidation.  Phil says the breathing exercises he learned will come in handy if and when he’s subjected to torture or waterboarding.

Phil says scientists claim the use of these 27 huge dish antennas is to observe black holes, disks around young stars, and dig this… " probe the Universe's cosmological parameter which provides updated knowledge on the physical mechanisms which produce “radio emission”.   Hmmm…  physical stuff that gives off radio signals...  Phil believes these giant antennas were installed to pick up radio or other signal transmissions from outer space.  Coincidently… this is the same area where Stanton Friedman the renowned nuclear physicist investigated a claim of a second UFO crash in the same Plains of Augustin.  The VLA radio telescopes were constructed beginning in 1972.

Phil Philistine said he needed to move ‘forward to the past’… and took off in his “fiery chariot” to investigate a possible UFO sighting recorded in the bible.  2 Kings 2:11

As an 8 year old on vacation in Indiana, my grandfather took me snipe hunting.  He told me to stand with a tow sack behind this big bush.  He said he’d flush ‘em out and I could catch snipes in the tow sack.  Guess I stood still in that big corn patch for about an hour before the sun started to set and walked back to the farm house.  Grandad and my Dad thought it was hilarious…. all except me.

Really sorry to hear about Herb Finney. He was a really good guy. We hung around a bit in high school and played some baseball in the early Babe Ruth days. We did have an epic fight one night and I attacked his hand with my forehead and broke it. Sanford and Rex saved him from more damage. A couple years ago Tommy Weathers,Billy Ward and I went out to see Herb at his farm and visited with him for a few minutes.....glad we did. R.I.P Herb.

Sad to hear about Jimmy Blakely. I knew him some what. His dad Jimmy had a day job as a carpenter. He ,my dad, and Dan Cook's dad worked together from time to time on various job. Of all instruments they listed that he player, they left off the steele guitar. I remember going to Scott'ys where they played for what seemed like a life time. Great honky tonk music.

I lived across the street from Jimmy in the 7th grade (South). I remember that their house seemed full of musical instrument and that he had a mini radial aircraft engine (12 in?? in diameter) that was supposed to be out of a drone. It was cool!

His Dad once wrote a song about a friend of our family, Marion Embry. He was a forest ranger and had caught Mr. Blakely and friends in deer camp with an extra little deer for camp meat. He wrote Mr. Blakely a citation and was rewarded with a song about his strictness.....' he'd arrest his own Grandma...'

Looking at the swim team pics reminds me that we should reactivate our hit list and find Mike Fowler. And while we are at we should also find Jimmie Qualls. Let the dogs out and find'um. His sister Linda maybe on the "63 website but I don't think she wants to talk to me.

Jimmy Blakley played an excellent clarinet.  Didn't Jimmy sit next to Alice Isaacs in Band?  Jimmy would have given Benny Goodman and Pete Fountain a run for the money. Would have loved to hear Jimmy play the steel guitar.  Rest in Peace my friend.

A ballon passed over my house early this morning.  Apropos

Turley,

I have a phone number and address for Jim Qualls in Rio Rancho near Albuquerque.  Maybe he can fix you up with his sister...  who still lives in Sacramento, right?  A possible clandestine rendezvous in San Diego...?  cheeky

I think I remember Th Blakeley's Band being on television at one time while we were still in school.  Rest in peace, Jimmy.  You can now accompany the angels as they sing.

Weathers,

Could this be one 'o them-thar weather balloons that General Ramey claimed to have found north of Roswell in '47..?  Remember, your story about German prisoners at Orchard Park voluntering to go up into balloons for research.  Only question is where do they find 3 foot tall  Germans with huge eyes and little slits for a mouth... ha
