Rex, I'm not sure about the hot chocolate in Oklahoma City, but it does resemble a coffee drink served by our favorite coffee place, "The Red Cup."  It is called a "Sexy Mexy," and has chocolate added with a touch of cayenne, and then topped with whipped cream.  They both sound yummy....and you can't go wrong with chocolate!  I will have to give your recipe a try.  Great idea for an antidote to the cold....thanks!i

John, I didn't know Cal and I were capable of such feats....thanks!

Rex,  you could name your chocolate milk concoction "The Sexy Rexy!"  Is this your Valentine gift to all the RHS girls in the class of 1962?  You know how we like chocolate!

Saundra,

The hot chocolate recipe is meant for both gents and  local lasses of RHS.  But of course not limited to the classes of 1960-64.  There may be some chicks from the Class of 2014 who would like to taste the muy caliente recipe (of  Granpa Rex...)    Charlene... you can press my "Like" button right here... yes

Have you ladies ever wondered why you feel so good after eating chocolate...?

Chocolate containes an amico acid called "Phenylethylamine"  which triggers a reaction in the brain similar to the feeling of 'being in love'...

Check it out

A little moon and some sunshine on the Capitan Mountain. The sun was coming up and the moon was going down. I always was famous for my moon shots.

That was a real nice moon shot with El Capitan.  Why don't you post the picture showing the real reason you were there so early in the morning....  Or will Linda get mad like the song "Daddy took her T-Bird away"...

Saundra,

I was thinking more along the line of the chocolate man Sammy Davis Jr.

Tommy, I love your picture of El Capitan!   On our trips back to Roswell, I keep a watch out for that mountain, because it means we are getting close to home.  I have grown to appreciate it even more after living away for so many years.  Thanks for posting!

Rex,

There you go....I was using my imagination with the Willy Wonka reference.  Thanks for the "Candy Man Song."  Come to think of it,, you could also be called "The Music Man!"

"There is no life I know to compare with pure imagination."...

OK,  you caught me... I'm guilty of lifting the phrase from Gene Wilder.

Speaking of the orginal "Music Mayen"....  Wasn't that you starring with Robert Preston?

The video was so nice. Kind of makes the heart beat faster thinking we were all that young once upon a time. Memories are wonderful things we can lovingly take out of a box and enjoy ever so often. Thanks.

Went to a Hank Williams Junior concert couple years back and he sang this song. They were selling t-shirts with that printed on them. Had one but some woman took it off my back !!!! ( she was a drunk redneck girl so I let her do it). My date didn't see the humor in it. hahaha
