John,

Don't listen to them. I used to have one of those hats....it had a long pony tail. The women love it so I traded it to one of them for.......well,a gentleman never tells.

Tommy loved that poster ...great expression on the little nipper's face.

Don and Rex. I always wondered what that affliction was called. I just thought is was called "die, you stinking lousy pervert"

Just my POV (probably obstructed view)

From my little corner of the world

John I am going to get one of those for my bare pate.  Guess we need a neat hat.

Billy Turley

What the heck kind of a grip does he have on the club??

05/14/14 12:46 PM #1097

Billy Turley

No wonder he has two diffferent sized hands and his head is way too far around. Besides that John plays left handed.

So there.

As Linda Milstad once said to Jim as he was spaying sun screen on his head "just wear the damned hat"

05/14/14 04:10 PM #1098

John Allensworth

Thanks guys, I just figured out what has been wrong with my game, I need to look at the ball and I'm not left handed, so what am I doing hitting that way.

You guys should charge for that in depth analysis, you are better than Johnny Miller.

John,

Always glad to assist The old Sage and proprietor of Allensworth Arms.

All you have to do to improve game is to play with me and Rex.

Did Rex take you fishing yet??

You boys need a lot of practice for Grindstone Gathering Second Occasional Bass and BS Tournament.

Weathers and Felber are way out front in the BS section. Rex also has perfect attendance at the all Gatherings

to date.

John we are a couple of good old boys who like to play the game.  Think we could shoot some golfs this summer.

05/16/14 11:21 AM #1104

John Allensworth

I imagine you shoot a little better than I do, so those golf balls are SAFE.............. when it's my turn.  You will definitely have to carry me!!  "I ain't heavy I'm your brother"

Turley,

John said he would not hold the Old Sage's Knot tying clinic untill Tommy and I got our new fishing licenses.  The NM Game & Fish license can be bought online.  I printed one out plus a three dollar bill that  was online . The cost... (read 'em 'n weep 'em) a paltry $ 0 dinero.  Another plus for living in the land 'o enchantment,  the promised land, and/or the land of milk 'n honey.  There's a honey down at Martin's Capitol Cafe who says she likes tying knots.  Wonder if it has anything to do with fishing...?

Yes, John L  the boat is safe and sound and ready for some action on the clear prisine lakes of Nuevo Mejico.   Have you completed your 12 mile marathon move yet...?

Don,  Thanks for sending the song "The Air that I Breath"

When the song "Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress first came out,  many thought it was recorded by some Cajun in Louisiana or by John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater.  Surprise, surprise...  t'was done by  of the Hollies "from across the pond".

Allan Clarke on vocals.

Welcome back Rex. As we all know this site is for us to share what we are doing and to keep up with our friends. Friends being the key word. Thanks John for all your work and thank all of you for sharing your life with us. I for one am disappointed when I open the mail and no one has posted anything for the day. I know something happened that you could make us laugh or even sad. News is not always good but if it is news from you I want to hear it.

I agree with Tommy, if nothing else, just say Hi.

Tommy I got to thinking that the ladies reading some of our stories decided that we were a bunch of nuts.  Of course they are right.  However; I am positive that the ladies have some stories of their own.  For example when I was a Jr. one evening I was southbound on N. Main when a car pulled up beside me and from the passengers window and the back passengers window I got mooned by two lovely butts. The car took off and I couldn't catch it I've wondered for over 52 years.  Was that you Lynn and Charlotte?  I heard stories of  ladies skinny dipping.  Come on ladies fess up.  Tell us some of your stories.  We promise not to tell tour Moms. After all ladies you could't have known the guys of 62 without some of the crazy rubbing off.

Don.... I certainly hope that YOU are not a 'golf hunter' like the photo. It is considered very UNSPORTSMANLIKE to ground sluice them. They have to be airborne to be counted and legal. Of course, that means someone has to be able to hit them off the tee. For more information, contact the Duck Commanders.

Rex, glad to hear that you have made it to NM. I am almost through moving the 13 miles across Stone Mountain.. Now the clean up and getting it listed. (the fun part). Then off to my Alaska home for the warm season! I need the rest.

I am on facebook, but admit that I don't use it very much.. I see see a lot of receipts for dishes, but you have to scroll down 200 feet to find them then I not sure who they belong to. I don't know about your household, but my wife and I get in a rut and eat the same thing time after time so we are always looking for something new.  Not long ago Rex sent a cookie receipt..  I didn't make them, because I figured I could just smear them on my hips, because that was where they were going to end up anyway.  Tommy sent a enchilada receipt that I know is good for my niece gave it to me years ago and she got it from Tommy.  Now if you put it on facebook you have to sift threw how many coins some one made, but if you put it on message forum there it is with your name.  If it doesn't entail organs like liver I would probably try it and and then thank you.  Help me out.
